Circus Skills with Year 3 and 4

In Term 3 students in Year 3 and 4 participated in a “Circus Skills” unit of work encouraging students to explore and experience a range of roles and situations that they initiated and developed through dramatic play. Students practiced performance and movement by learning activities such as balancing, hula hoops, juggling, skipping, spinning plates and acrobalance, linking music into the routines. The final lesson for the term involved students in planning and rehearsing their skills for a live circus performance in class.
